Workshop, Concert & Films to Your Campus & Community this semester
Greetings,
I hope this letter finds you in great spirits. My name is spiritchild of the Hip Hop fusion band Mental Notes from NYC. We are planning our new tour Hip Hop Beyond Struggle promoting workshops for justice and our new albums. We would like to offer and do a few of the following:
� Meet and create with other artist
� Give a concert
� Participate in an upcoming performance
� Exhibit some of our films
� Do a workshop on the art of struggle focusing on art for social change, specifically through the elements and origins of hip hop
PURPOSE:
The Hip Hop Beyond Struggle Tour is setting out on its national run of our tour.
Our purpose is to facilitate networks and communities through the dialogue of Hip Hop.
The tour features performances, documentaries and workshops on hip hop as a tool for social change and cultural resistance. The music is fun, celebratory but also expresses the role of art in relation to global struggles. spiritchild is also a youth instructor and has shared his works with high school and college students as well as adult audiences throughout the United States of America, India, Egypt, Europe, Bolivia, Mexico and Guatemala.

We request a honorarium/artist fee so that we can support our movement towards building and sharing our resources along with musical vibrations to communities that are unable to afford to sponsor such events.
